Grammar day

By logic I thought it best to do grammar the day before writing rather than the originally scheduled day after.

We’re working on two things today…run-on sentences and apostrophes.

Though it’s no substitute for class with me, here’s a review of what we learned for run-ons.

As far as apostrophes, here’s a lesson on that:

We won’t have a quiz on these tow things, but there will be a writing assignment next week where I’ll expect you to apply these two lessons.  In other words, be sure your writing doesn’t forget apostrophes.  Run-ons will be unacceptable as well.

(Wouldn’t it be ironic if I messed one of those two things up in this entry?)
