Learning to keep focus while reading

Today during our silent reading we’re going to use a technique I learned at a workshop this summer.  Every few pages/minutes I will pause your reading and have you jot down what was on your mind in the last few pages.  It could be about the story, it could be daydreaming…whatever it is, write it down.  The goal of this is to become more aware of when your mind wonders off and catch it from doing that.  Quack quiz tomorrow.
